I'm Dr. Britt. I built this practice for the woman I used to watch get sold a 36-visit plan.
WHO I AM
I'm Dr. Brittnei Scott — Britt to almost everyone. I'm a Doctor of Chiropractic, Palmer Package certified, and I've been treating patients in Charlotte for seven years. Before I opened Just Peachy, I worked at a high-volume chiropractic chain. The kind that sells you a year-long plan before you've even had a real exam. I left because I couldn't keep doing it.
HOW I PRACTICE
My practice is built on a single conviction: most people aren't broken. They've just never had a chiropractor who listened first, treated efficiently, and handed them back the keys to their own body. I'm a diagnostician first. The right tool comes second — adjustments, dry needling, cupping, muscle scraping, soft-tissue work. Whatever your body actually needs, not whatever I'm trying to upsell. I do not sell forty-visit plans. I do not use X-rays as a sales tool. I do not tell you your spine is degenerating to upsell a package. Most of my patients are out in four to six visits.
WHO I TREAT
Career-driven women in Charlotte, ages 25–55. Pilates, barre, Peloton, hot yoga, runners. The woman whose orthopedist gave her ten minutes and a muscle relaxer. The woman who's been told her hips are tilted and her neck is text-necked and that's just how it is. I also do prenatal and postpartum care, often in coordination with pelvic-floor PT.
WHEN I'M NOT IN THE OFFICE
I'm at a Pilates class, walking my husband Barrett through a Charlotte sporting event, or out walking our rescue Maltipoo Mei (who is also my office greeter).
What I actually think about...
"Most of you don't need one. You need a diagnosis."
"If your chiropractor sells you 24 visits before they've examined you, leave."
"Your hips are not tilted. They're tight. There's a difference, and it changes the treatment."
"It's a subscription business in a lab coat."
"Pilates didn't break your back. Sitting eight hours before Pilates did."
