By accessing our website at www.justpeachychiro.com, booking an appointment, or using any of our services, you're agreeing to the terms below. Please take a few minutes to read them — they're written in plain language because we believe you deserve to understand what you're agreeing to.

1. Who We Are
Just Peachy Chiropractic + Wellness is a chiropractic and wellness practice owned and operated by Dr. Brittnei Scott, DC, doing business as Altrui Chiropractic Center PLLC, located at 6853 Fairview Road, Suite 100C, Charlotte, NC 28210. References to "we," "us," or "our" throughout these terms refer to Just Peachy Chiropractic + Wellness and Altrui Chiropractic Center PLLC.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By using this website or booking our services, you confirm that you've read, understood, and agreed to these Terms of Service. If you're booking on behalf of someone else, you confirm you have the authority to agree on their behalf.
We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. When we do, we'll update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of our website or services after any changes means you accept the updated terms.
3. Website Content Is Informational Only
The content on our website — including blog posts, educational articles, exercise tips, and wellness information — is for general informational purposes only. It is not medical advice, and it does not replace a consultation with a qualified healthcare provider.
Browsing our website, reading our content, or engaging with us on social media does not create a doctor-patient relationship. That relationship only begins once you've completed our intake process and been seen in our office.
If you're experiencing a medical emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room immediately.
4. Appointment Booking & Scheduling
Appointments can be booked through our online scheduling platform or by calling our office directly. By booking an appointment, you agree to the following:
Cancellation Policy: We ask for at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Life happens — we get it. But last-minute cancellations make it harder for us to serve other patients who need care.
No-Show Policy: Missed appointments without notice may result in a no-show fee. Repeated no-shows may result in discharge from the practice.
Late Arrivals: If you arrive more than 10 minutes late, we may need to shorten your appointment or reschedule to avoid impacting other patients' care.
Appointment Confirmation: You'll receive automated reminders via text and/or email. These are a courtesy — it is your responsibility to keep track of your scheduled appointments.
5. Payment Terms
Payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made in advance.
Self-Pay: Our current self-pay rates are listed at the front desk and on our new patient paperwork. Rates are subject to change; we will always give you notice before any change affects your care.
Insurance: We are in-network with select insurance plans. If we bill your insurance as a courtesy, you remain financially responsible for any balance not covered by your plan, including copays, deductibles, and non-covered services. It is your responsibility to understand your own benefits.
Add-On Services: Certain add-on services (cupping, dry needling, Graston/IASTM, kinesiology taping) are never covered by insurance and are billed directly to you at the time of service.
Returned Payments: Returned checks or declined cards may result in an administrative fee.
6. Scope of Services
Just Peachy Chiropractic + Wellness provides chiropractic care, bodywork, dry needling, cupping, Graston technique, massage therapy, and assisted stretching services. Our care is designed to address musculoskeletal concerns and support overall wellness.
We do not provide emergency medical care, primary care, diagnostic imaging interpretation for non-chiropractic conditions, or mental health services. If we determine that your needs fall outside the scope of our care, we will do our best to refer you to an appropriate provider.
Our approach is results-oriented. We design care plans with clear goals and defined endpoints — not ongoing treatment without purpose.
7. Health & Safety
You are responsible for providing accurate and complete health history information. Withholding relevant medical information may affect the safety and effectiveness of your care and releases us from liability related to any resulting adverse outcomes.
If your health status changes significantly between visits — new diagnosis, surgery, medication changes, injuries — please let us know before your next appointment.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, images, graphics, logos, and the Just Peachy Chiropractic + Wellness brand — is the property of Altrui Chiropractic Center PLLC. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or use our content without our written permission.
If you'd like to share something from our website, we're generally happy to allow it with proper attribution. Just ask first.
9. Third-Party Links
Our website may include links to third-party websites, platforms, or resources for your convenience. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content, privacy practices, or terms. Clicking a third-party link is at your own discretion.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by North Carolina law, Just Peachy Chiropractic + Wellness and Altrui Chiropractic Center PLLC are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website or reliance on its content.
Our total liability for any claim related to your use of our website — not your in-office care — shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 30 days preceding the claim.
This limitation does not apply to liability arising from in-office care, which is governed by your treatment agreement and applicable North Carolina law.

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Mecklenburg County, North Carolina.
